From the onset of puberty to the menopause and beyond, women will experience huge changes in their bodies due to the influences of hormones. These are totally natural processes, but some women can develop hormonally related problems such as painful or heavy periods, pre-menstrual syndrome (PMS), endometriosis or Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) as well as menopausal symptoms. In some women, these symptoms can be severe and really affect their quality of life.

Clinical reflexology aims to help the body to balance the hormones and promote deep relaxation. There is research suggesting that reflexology can have benefits in some conditions related to hormonal imbalance such as PMS, menopause and painful periods. Karen has personally had great success in helping women suffering from hormonal imbalances.
